Argentina's Juan Monaco to win the $450,000 Movistar Open tennis event on
Sunday.
The third-seeded Bellucci downed the second-seeded Monaco 6-2, 0-6, 6-4 in
just over two hours for his second career ATP title. He last won a title at
Gstaad last year.
Monaco, who was the runner-up here in 2008 as he lost to Fernando Gonzalez,
was looking for his fourth career title. All of his title match wins came in
2007.
Bellucci collected $68,450 for his win in his first-ever match against
Monaco.

Adam Morrison, of the Charlotte Bobcats, was the favorite early on in the season after averaging 15+ PPG through the first month of the season. Ever since his torrid start, Morrison’s point production has declined each month. This really isn’t surprising, considering at 6’8” he only weighs 205 lbs. Obviously he will need to hit the weights big time during the off-season in order to keep from breaking down in the future.
